Yet another time the high quality of printer consummables was confirmed by an expert ranking prepared by PC Format. This time, the reviewers focused on ink substitutes for the selected printer models. ActiveJet as the only one among competitors was granted twice the "best consummables" title.
The results of substitutes to ink printers were published in the last issue of the PC Format magazine. In the contest, differences were analysed with regard to quality, efficiency and printing costs with the use of consummables on five printers of leading manufacturers: Brother, HP, Canon, Epson and Lexmark. The ranking creators assessed even the labelling of product packages and distinguished the ActiveJet brand with the statement that "it has the best labelled packages which clearly state whether the cartridge is new and what kind of ink it contains."
As the test creators stress, it is aimed at providing basic knowledge on the generally available substitute brands and presents the possibilities of using them in various printers. The test results confirmed that using ActiveJet brand substitutes when printing on HP and Canon equipment helps not only save the ink but also ensure the highest quality of the material.
During the assessment of substitutes for Canon printers the test authors pointed to the efficency of ActiveJet products, stressing that "it is always better than the original and there are no problems with their usage." Additionally, the test has proved that the difference in reproducing colours with the use of ActiveJet cartridges is lower than in the case of originals.
Awarding the "Editor’s Choice" title to ActiveJet substitutes for HP printers was determined also by their high efficiency and colour reproduction capacity. It was stated in the text: "The only exception proved to be a regenerated ActiveJet substitute which with regard to quality was no different from the original inks. (…) Black looked best on the printouts made with the use of ActiveJet. Colour documents sported vivid colours ".
"It is a very important ranking for us. Although we ourselves constantly control the quality of our inks, it is good to know that their values are noticed also by experts. We have received as many as 13 praises, e.g. for increased capacity as compared with the originals, clear labelling of new and regenerated cartridges and the possibility of using the ink down to the last drop, comments Rafał Ornowski, ActiveJet Brand Director at ACTION S.A.
High quality of ActiveJet substitutes which equals that of OEM products is not the only aspect acknowledged in the test. PC Format pays attention also to the attractive prices of this brand's consummables. In 2011, the ActiveJet brand received also the "Polish Quality 2011" title.
