The football match with Lechia Gdansk on 19 November 2011 was the first one to have been played by the Warsaw-based Legia with ActiveJet logotype on their shirts. ActiveJet is a brand owned by ACTION S.A. and the new sponsor of the club. A leader of the Polish alternative printer consumables market and a manufacturer of LED lighting products, ActiveJet has supported sports on many occasions, thus following the community-oriented policy of its publicly traded holder, ACTION S.A. The sponsorship contract was signed on 18 November 2011 with an expiry date of 31 December 2013.
A truly 'active' brand
ActiveJet is going to great lengths to promote the Polish sport. This time the brand adopted the prestigious role of the sponsor of the Legia Warszawa Football Club. The home team of the capital of Poland is the all-times leader of the Polish 'Ekstraklasa' league table and one of the most renowned Polish FCs in Europe.
Football has always been one of the most important sports to Poles and the Legia football club has a special place in the hearts of many fans. Next year our country is going to host Europe's greatest football event. Our intention is not only to build the awareness of the ActiveJet brand but also to promote a dynamic, active lifestyle. We also have an important thing in common with Legia Warszawa: we all want to develop ourselves consistently and all focus on achieving the best results, comments Rafal Ornowski, ActiveJet Brand Director.

Legia was not chosen at random. Piotr Bielinski, ACTION S.A.'s CEO, had a lot to do with sport for many years. He has been a member of Legia's track and field team and successfully won medals at national championships three times in the 1,500-metre run.
Sport is a part of my life. It was at Legia's stadium where I began my sports career, which is the reason why I have such warm feelings for that place. It was here that I learned what honest competition means and how it is like to keep focusing on the result, the attitude that strongly contributed to my success in business later on. It was also here that I participated in the celebration of ACTION's 20th anniversary, which was organised on the western grandstand of the Warsaw's club's new sports arena. As you can see, the story went full circle and I am returning to my roots today, this time as the club's sponsor. Supporting sports
In years 2003 – 2010 ACTION S.A. held patronage over a road cycling team, whose member Cezary Zamana won the Tour de Pologne in 2003. In 2010 the team was renamed to Mróz ActiveJet and has been promoting the ActiveJet brand. ACTION S.A. has co-sponsored the 'Biegnij Warszawo' (Warsaw Run) marathon run for several years now. The company also supports Polish track and field athletes including Grzegorz Sudol, Iwona Lewandowska and Lukasz Parszczynski.
