ActiveJet, which is ACTION S.A.'s private brand, ranked first in an independent survey conducted by PART/ITReseller, which revealed that more than 42% of the participating Resellers found ActiveJet ink and toner cartridges to be the most popular choice of their customers. In spite of the difficult condition on the market, ActiveJet results have improved compared to the preceding year.
When asked about the most frequently purchased brands of non-OEM ink and toner cartridges, more than 42% of Resellers point to ActiveJet consumables, which is more than twice as much as the next brand down the line.
According to the Resellers, the alternative, or non-OEM consumables let them earn most. Only as little as 15% of the participants indicated genuine OEM consumables.
The survey shows that for most customers – close to 42% - the lowest price is the key decision-making criterion, while every third buyer is primarily guided by their own experiences. According to 28% of the Resellers asked, buyers choose to trust the seller's opinion.
The independent research done by PART ITReseller confirms ActiveJet's unquestionable leading position in the non-OEM printer consumables industry. While the market is shrinking, we record growth in our sales and keep expanding our product ranges.
One of the reasons why resellers value alternative consumable brands is that they give them clearly higher margins, said Rafał Ornowski, who represents the Board of Directors of Action S.A., the owner of the brand, in its operations related to ActiveJet.
This year ActiveJet is celebrating its 10th anniversary. During the decade of the brand's market presence, it has managed to become the unquestionable leader of the non-OEM consumables market and has achieved a substantial increase in brand awareness, for example by means of unusual marketing activities and decisions, such as becoming a sponsor of the Legia Warsaw Football Club.
