The process of designing and manufacturing of ActiveJet printer consumables was successfully certified under ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 by British Standards Institution Group Polska, a globally recognised certification authority. BSI Polska is a branch of the British Standardisation Institute in London, one of the oldest product quality evaluation organisations.
The Quality Management Certificate ISO 9001:2008 confirms our management system's compliance with that globally adopted standard, which sets forth the requirements quality management systems should meet within an organisation. The standard provides for the management staff's commitment to the efforts aimed at building its quality management system, customer orientation, process-based approach, continuous improvement, regular measurements of customer satisfaction, monitoring of products, processes, etc.
ISO 14001 is an international standard that specifies the methods that should be followed to implement environmental management systems. It helps organisations in defining the rules of sustainable balance between the profitability of its operations and the minimisation of its environmental footprint. Organisations that effectively implement the assumptions of that standard can successfully reach both those objectives.
Obtaining the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates for our design and manufacturing process from BSI Group, which is one of the most experienced quality reviewers worldwide, proves the superior level of the standards we have implemented at ActiveJet. The certificates were awarded at the beginning of September 2012 and will remain valid until October 2013 (for ISO 9001:2008) and February 2014 (for ISO 14001:2004). In 2004 BSI Group Polska certified the management system used by ACTION S.A., the owner of the ActiveJet brand, under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, which was followed by ISO 27001 certification in 2008. At present, the certification process was extended to include design and manufacturing of printer consumables.
